I tend to rate restaurants for "value" (quality of food vs price) and service, plus some kudos for extras like decoration, hostess, parking, location, etc. And this was the case with this visit to RT. It was a Friday, place was crowded, but we only had to wait about 10 minutes. Hostess was nice and efficient. They sat us at the last table in a secluded area of the restaurant.. I ordered the Smokehouse Burger, which was very tasty and cooked to my liking. We also had the Steak and Lobster, a bargain for $21, and it was very good (with onion rings!). If there were negative stars I could give I would. That's how bad this place is. The staff. The crowd. Even the basic on which restaurants are made of, the food.... AWFUL. I came because it was a group and families birthday and the service was awful. They couldn't seat a large party. They didn't appear to care either. What ever happen to the days of great customer service.. GONE! NONEXISTENT! Sat at the bar while I waited for an hour for them to tell us they couldn't seat a large party where I ordered a classic quesadilla and a water... God was it bad.. The quesadilla was covered in grease.. and if you picked it up to eat it was dipping grease out. I hate to be a jerk but the water tastes nasty too.. totally turned off. The bartender was a single butchy looking girl that couldn't keep up with anyone at the bar let alone the orders. The manager walks around with an awful haircut snazzy passing dirty tables while his staff is swamped with work... No help offered of course... WELCOME TO THE CORPORATE RESTAURANT SERVICE WHERE YOU DONT MATTER. If a petition was started and organized to pay money to get this place out of service I would pay a solid amount. I can only imagine how dirty the kitchen is.. nasty ass place.. RUN!

The staff was having a private conversation by our table, is not any of our business at what time they arrived to work. The restaurant has an old smell to it, maybe like dirty carpet. Last thing my cup had what appeared to me as butter or mayonnaise all around the rim. Not pleasant at all. The worst thing any restaurants could have is rats or dirty dishes, remember that represents you "ruby Tuesday". Good food but dirty dishes.

If you're in the mood for a solid burger or sandwich with a side of AYCE salad bar, then you could do a whole lot worse than Ruby Tuesdays. I typically go for their Black & Blue Bacon Pretzel Burger (medium) with their salad bar and I never leave disappointed. Sure, the salad bar could have more of a variety, but it has a sufficient amount of choices for the given price point. The problem with this location would have to be service; I've experienced long wait times in between table visits for refills which is a pet peeve of mine. It's an average restaurant with average/better than average food. It's worth your time if you're in the area.

I'm not a picky eater so with that being said, I ate the Primo Bacon Cheese Pretzel Burger which I asked for medium done and it was well over done... The juice was sucked out of it plus it had no flavor. It came with fries that frankly I could of had better quality ones from McDonald's! I ate it because 1. It was still edible and I was starving and 2. I already spent the money on it (yeah I know I said F' it! Lol. My wife got the Ribs and Crispy Popcorn Shrimp. The ribs were flavorless which I seasoned with Flavor of God seasoning which made it edible... And the "crispy" Popcorn shrimp were soggy popcorn shrimp... Smh... Never again... So here I thought tou can't F' up dessert right? ..... I was wrong! We ordered a Blondie.... Omg... The blondie was hard and dry... The ice cream was the only good part and I'm sure they don't make it in house. Never ever again will I eat from here. By the way it was a takeout order... I'm sure people will read this and say "why would you keep ordering food if it sucked and why would he bring his own seasoning to a restaurant" lol.

My question is why aren't there more of these Ruby Tuesdays. I love them. They have the best salad bar EVER!! and so cheap. If you haven't been in a while, I'll have you know they have undergone some major changes. The decor is nicer, no more nick nacks all over the walls, and their menu is really great, if offers the typical bar food, and some healthy alternatives. I love the mini burger and salad bar option, you get the best of both worlds. BTW they have sunday brunch, with $5.00 mimosas, bellinis, or bloody mary's, not bad and they have mini benedicts in a variety of flavors, like crab or steak.

Fresh, delicious, great variety salad bar. The boys and the husband love it too because it has a decent sized menu with lots to pick from. We come here often, at least 2-3 times a month.

The atmosphere was very comfortable, the seating was as well. It was not too crowded at all. The waiters we were attended by were extremely nice! She made sure we had everything and was very kind. The food arrived fast, which is not what I'm used to! As for the food, it tasted great as well, and I plan on going back without a doubt.

Worst place ever. Walked in 9pm on a Monday it was 4 other tables occupied. As of 9:30 no one attempted to serve us. Honestly feel like it's racial profiling because we were the only two black people in the restaurant . Requested manager and his response was "What would you like me to do" so I decided to leave.

Went here for lunch and ordered the salmon Caesar salad. This was without a doubt the worst meal I ever had. The salmon was discussing. Big pieces were as hard as rock and could not be cut with a knife. The rest was so fishy it was not edible. The salad had so much dressing it was like mush. How they have the nerve to sell this at all is incredible but at $12.99? They should be ashamed.

Ruby's is hit or miss. I give it 3 stars because when it is a hit, it hits home runs. I work in the area and used to go a lot more when my favorite bartender would be there after work but lately it is not much fun, especially with the Ale House right next door. The food is very salty and most of it is greasy. The drinks are higher priced than next door and they also they have more selection next door. Ruby's really needs to spruce up their game. Granted, yes the food is better at ruby's but honestly not by that much. The salad bar is definitely the best thing they have to offer. Service is average, the people are nice but again nothing to write home about. The people are usually what do it for me and they are lacking that lately. I have not been there in many months and probably will not return for a long while.

The WORST place to eat in Miami Lakes! Service is horrible! We've regularly gone to eat there before but this last experience really did it for me. It was a Friday night and the place was busy, however I did see available tables for immediate seating. The hostess had us wait while she sent someone to run around to figure out which table they were going to give us. At our table, the waitress knocked over a FULL glass of mango iced tea and completely soaked me! Apologized a couple of times and basically got lost the whole time. To top it all off, we were still charged for the glass! Service there just isn't the same anymore....what a shame.

I come to this location fairly often, at least once or twice a week as it is located near my job. I always sit at the bar (my favorite bartender is James, great guy). Managers are super friendly and personable, always smiling and ensuring the customers are having a great meal. I previously worked in the industry for 8 years as a line cook, so I can be pretty picky about my food. I never have once sent anything back. My order is always hot and fresh, and the drinks are very tasty.

This is our watering hole and for good reason. The food is very good, the pricing is competitive and they have salad bar included with your entree -which adds value. The bar area is great for light foods and get to-gethers. The environment is nice and family friendly. ***This message is not intended for this restaurant in particular*** Folks, if you use your credit card as much as we do, please watch where it goes. If you can't keep an eye on it, you're better off paying cash. Over the past 5 years, we've had our cards fraudulently swiped 3 times. ******Please spread the word! ********

When I got here after work on Sunday, I was hungry enough to eat the fake cow outside! Food itself was pretty damn good and seasoned. My sweet potato fries were crispy and the loaded baked potato was, with sour cream, butter and cheese. I could even taste some bacon bits. The BBQ chicken breast was nicely portioned - just a bit smaller than my hand - and the sauce had notes of smoke and was a bit spicy. The berry yogurt parfait in a martini glass almost makes me want to round it up to four stars as it was creamy, with a decent amount of fruit and a sweet crispiness to the granola. TVs around the bar were good although nothing of interest was showing tonight (the Heat wasn't playing :/) Service could have been a little better. There was no hostess up front when I walked in, and had to wander around and look for one.Call it a silly personal preference, but I also like for the wait staff to check on me at least once during the meal not just when I'm done with the place especially when the place isn't packed.

Today we were there, we usually go because the salad bar, today it was the worse experience ever, the plates in the salad bar were empty, no broccoli, no chasse no eggs, no mushroom, no ranch depressing, the food came before we finish the salad, the attendant put the bill in the table without been ask for, he even do not ask if we want a desert, we call the manager and he was not receptive of my comments.

Ruby's is a nice place to meet up for lunch or dinner. The atmosphere is pretty quiet and welcoming; great for having a conversation. For certain, their food is delicious. I've tried several different meals throughout the years be it the ribs, mini burgers, chicken, fries, salad bar...etc. and it's always been on point. Special shout out to the salad bar! It's exquisite. Love, love, love the pumpernickel croutons. Last night I tried their Fit and Trim Bourbon Chicken with the zucchini and spaghetti squash and it was awesome. The chicken was very tender and juicy and the sauce was amazing. Ironically enough, I also had their Blondie brownie (for one) for dessert :P It was good. It comes with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The only thing about the brownie is that I wish it were more moist. I'm not certain that stale is the word to describe it, because it tasted yummy, but maybe it was a bit stale. Their drinks specials of the evening were $5 cocktails. I ordered a Mai Tai and I was very disappointed. It was pure tropical juice. There was barely any rum in it. I only drank like 1/4 of it because it was just too sweet. Which reminded me of why I don't order cocktails anymore. The service was also a bit slow. It seemed to take forever to get anything. Luckily, I was with a good friend and we had plenty to talk about so it didn't seem too bad. However, if you're with less entertaining company it may start to get frustrating. The server was nice though. She did bring out those cheese biscuits halfway through our meal (instead of the beginning). Yummy, cheesy goodness. Okay place. Good food.

I'm not quite sure why this Ruby Tuesday is listed as being in Hialeah, when in actuality, it is smack dab in the center of downtown Miami Lakes (directly across from the Miami Lakes Town Hall). The prices here are reasonable, and if you have the RetailMeNot app on your phone, they usually have a "Buy One Entree Get One 1/2 Off" coupon available for customers. The salad bar is very fresh and they have a good variety of options to choose from. However, due to my most recent visit, I have to commend the service! Our waiter was so friendly and checked up on us to make sure we were enjoying our food and that we weren't in need of refills. At the salad bar, the croutons were gone and it was going to be another 5 minutes before they were brought out. One of the staff members who was in charge of making sure the salad bar was fully stocked asked us where we were sitting and said that she would bring us some croutons when they were done. A few minutes later, she came to our table with a plate of fresh, hot croutons. The manager was also walking around making sure that everything came out to the delight of the patrons. Our entree's were good, although they are a little stingy on their serving of vegetables (I had like 5 small pieces of broccoli), but the food was fresh and tasted delicious. Overall, a great experience.

I've been to this location only once before and the food was decent but nothing memorable. Although, I do like the salad bar. They keep it clean and well stocked and they also seem to make their own croutons. Sometimes even from pumpernickel bread. YUM! We were working on the independent film at this location so we ordered some appetizers in order to use the location. Our servers name was Alex and he was pretty cool. He was genuinely interested and he took care of us well. I ordered the Jumbo Lump Crab Cake which is made from fresh, premium jumbo lump crab meat and seared to a golden brown. It's served with a sweet/spicy chile sauce. Sort of reminded me of Spicy mayo. I also tried some of the Shrimp Fondue which was pretty yummy. It's a blend of spicy shrimp, creamy cheese, and fresh pico del gallo. It was served with your standard tortilla chips. They seemed to be freshly made as well. Overall, not a bad place to grab a bite.

First time exploring Miami on my own and it was a pleasant experience. The service was really nice, most of the food was good (I didn't like the biscuits....) but it's definitely a place I would go to again. I really didn't expect it to be so good and the wine selection was varied and interesting too.

Luv this place beyond what I would normally feel for a big chain. The service is always impeccable. Food is awesome and affordable. My husband and I ate two entrees, dessert and two alcoholic drinks for under $40. $5 Watermelon Mojitos are yummy (but not very strong)! Sam Adams Seasonal Draft is refreshing! I recommend the Avocado Turkey Burger. For desert- the Blondie for Two. Italian cream cake is really yummy if you're not into chocolate.

Cost effective and tasty all-american food at its best. I've frequented this Ruby Tuesday's for a few years now, and the service has always been great. The food is great, filling and hearty. The burgers are awesome, and they serve free unlimited biscuits! The servers are always friendly, ready to help and in a great mood. I can't really say that I dislike anything about this place, but nothing really "wows me/knocks my socks off" here either. It's a great place to grab a bite with friends, and at affordable prices, what else could you want? (Remember the part about unlimited biscuits- don't order an appetizer [they can be a tad expensive for what you get, compared to the main course]. If you do order an appetizer for any reason [trying to impress your date/your waiter?], I'd go with the spring rolls.)

UPDATE: Tried Ruby's Sunday Brunch and loved it! I shared the Crab Omelet with my husband. It came with a delicious yogurt parfait! The omelet was good, but I didn't like the taste of crab in my breakfast. I'll probably try a different one next time. The potatoes that come with the omelet were AMAZING, my younger sister kept stealing them off my plate. My dad had the steak and eggs... and well, they were completely gone so I guess he liked it. The menu is limited and rather small but everything looks really good. We will definitely come back for some more Brunch. Me love Brunch!!! __________________________________________________Â_______ Came to Ruby's for lunch with two of my friends/co-workers. Good service. Waiter was always checking up on us. Always refilled our cups of water and asked if we needed anything. Very sweet, young guy who looked like he was new to job. I had the Shrimp and Penne dish. It was pretty good. Can't complain. I will definitely come back. I have to try the Avocado Turkey Burger. Yumm. Thumbs up!

Great place for drinks and food. Their lunch specials are decently priced and dinner isn't too expensive either. The four way sampler is fulfilling for two people. I recommended the Ruby minis as well. They have a good selection of cocktails and beer.

i was never a fan of this chain but I was really surprised with the service, dining choices and presentations. Everyone at the table had a great experience. Our waiter, Mike Laguardia was superb. The salad bar was clean and equipped. They also have a lot of options for those of us that are calorie conscious.

I can't emphasize enough how much I love this place. I've been there 4-5 times and I don't have a complaint. Their service is outstanding as well as the food. The last 2 times I was there I ordered their endless salad bar and wow! was it delicious. They have a pretty good selection of great fresh veggies and dressings. They have full bar and their drinks are very refreshing and yummy. I highly recommended it if you are a veggie lover, but their other meals are good as well.

What can I say about a big chain restaurant...well I have to admit that coming to this one in Miami Lakes is the best one. Everytime we've come here, the wait is short, the staff is friendly and the food is typical American but good. Love that they have a fit menu and that they have a "Fresh" salad bar. Plus I am like 5 minutes from here...so that makes it extra cool!

I live so close to this eatery. This past Friday 8/30 was the second time I had eaten at Ruby Tuesday and I regretted it like the first time. My wife and I ordered shrimp fondue followed by mini burgers and a regular cheeseburger and fries. To our surprise the kitchen staff was slow and the burgers were brought to our table 40 minutes after ordering. Best of all, our courteous table server Cesar apologetically informs us that he forgot our shrimp fondue appetizer. My cheese burger was just a bit larger than the minis my wife ordered and comparable in price. To make things better the manager came to see us to apologize informing us that it was not Cesar's fault that the food was late but the kitchen staff. I agreed. It was Cesar's fault to forget our appetizer and it was poor kitchen management that started this mess. Through all this my wife is kicking me under the table, but I was very composed and diplomatic throughout. To end the conversation the manager offered us a 25% discount on our meal. I did not know whether to laugh or thank him. All I could say to him was that I was here for good food and service not a welfare handout; but then again the nanny state welfare mentality has been growing and thriving for the past six years. Never again RUBY........not Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or what ever days follow. Folks, for good cheese burgers try organic free range beef burgers with real not processed fries at ELEVATION BURGERS. You get more amount of food and incredible taste for less money. Skip Ruby Tuesday.

All 4 of those stars are for the service we received. The food, as usual at places (i.e. chains) like this is your standard mediocre American fare. The decor here is terrible too...I asked our waiter if he'd noticed that there were no people of color in any of the paintings. Once I pointed it out, he walked around the place and came back to the table to confirm that it was true. Listen up people of the midwest, there's more to life than we white folk! And if you're going to pump soul and old school R&B through your speakers, the least you can do is have some representation in your artwork. Sooooo blah! Also, the sangria was only okay and the LITs weren't strong at all. Save your money on booze and head over to the Ale House next door instead!

Today we were there, we usually go because the salad bar, today it was the worse experience ever, the plates in the salad bar were empty, no broccoli, no chasse no eggs, no mushroom, no ranch depressing, the food came before we finish the salad, the attendant put the bill in the table without been ask for, he even do not ask if we want a desert, we call the manager and he was not receptive of my comments.

waiter was nice (even though she messed up my order) but honestly the food sucks. way too overpriced for mediocre food.

Okay place. Good food.

I went to this Ruby Tuesday a couple days ago after we saw that the JOHNNY ROCKETS across the street closed. So we went for dinner and food was great

Slowest. Service. Ever. And food was wrong. Since so slow I opted to (barely) eat it so I wouldn't starve

Nice place to have cocktails, food is fine. Good price on spirits

First time exploring Miami on my own and it was a pleasant experience. The service was really nice, most of the food was good (I didn't like the biscuits....) but it's definitely a place I would go to again. I really didn't expect it to be so good and the wine selection was varied and interesting too.

lunch over at 3:00 sharp! Today there were fruit flies and small ants on our table and flying around restaurant around salad bar.

Mediocre food. The only thing i liked was the decor
(1)Lisa C.

Great food. Love the salad bar and the pasta. Service is great. Never a wait.
(4)Richie B.
Ate at this location on July 30th. Food was decent but nothing special. Waiter service was not good. Would not go back to this location again.
(2)Steve F.
Really good service everytime I've been there. The food has always been delicious too

My husband and I come here all the time and we love it. Our usual bar tender David is amazing. Service is awsome and atmosphere is always pleasant. :)
